I ordered these shoes for an event, however, when they arrived there was a problem. The sole was separating from the shoe due to the glue not quite holding in one area. One strap was also longer than the other. I am aware that the straps can be cut however one needed cutting and the other did not. When the company heard of my displeasure with the shoes, they offered to send out another pair and even added an upgrade at no charge. EXCELLENT customer service is why they rate a 5, and because he shoes are gorgeous. I am so happy that I will receive a new pair.

Used these shoes to the Gatsby Party. They were comfortable to stand and dance in but by the end of the night my toes were definitely feeling it. The bottom of the shoes is fleece like fabric?? no rubber or other sole. Started brown in color so now the bottoms are tar black. That fleece like fabric absorbed whatever was on the floor? :-\ I don’t expect the soles to last long because of that.
Also the back of the heel is relatively high riding up to your ankle, I have skinny legs so the distance between my heel, ankle and the end of the heal cover was just enough not to rub my skin raw but if you have a thicker foot, especially the ankle part, expect to need to wear a bandaid or these shoes be very uncomfortable on the back.

These shoes are nice to look at but they are kind of uncomfortable. They are bit wide, a bit wobbly, not much padding. I got them for tango and tango class is only an hour so I can deal with it but I don’t feel grounded with these shoes. All in all, I think I’ll get better shoes next time, pay a little more, maybe even go to a store and try on a couple of dancing shoes.

These shoes are beautiful and well made however I did find them to be tight on the toe box for my wide feet. The strap is adjustable and easy to secure. Very comfortable shoe for dancing.

I actually got these to go with a flapper dress, and I think the look works rather well. The shoes are also more comfortable than I expected they would be – I decided to start breaking them in early so I wouldn’t suffer at the party for which I specifically bought them and wore them on a shopping trip where I was up and walking for hours. They started to hurt a little towards the end, but I was extremely pleased. The shoes are super cute and festive, and I’m excited to go dancing in them! Oh, one thing I didn’t expect (which I guess is a common thing for dance shoes?) – the buckle slides into a bracket, it’s not one continuous strap buckling you into the shoe. That surprised me, but it made no difference. I buckled the strap at the hole I thought most comfortable and slid it into the bracket and the shoe stayed on securely.

I love these shoes! The size and fit is perfect, and there’s a bit more cushion in the insole than in my more expensive ballroom shoes. I get lots of compliments from other women at the dances, and my boyfriend finds these shoes very sexy. Will buy the again!

I had read that these are open and wide enough that they could possibly pass for a wide fit, so I took a chance and bought them – definitely not a wide fit. I was able to use the hair dryer trick to stretch them out a little and. Make them bearable. They are very pretty, and the low heel is great, but the suede bottoms are only good for the dance floor – walking outside will destroy them. None of these things are the manufacturers fault, though (the suede sole is clearly stated, I just misunderstood, and the listing itself doesn’t claim to be wide width), so it deserves 4 stars. The shoes came as advertised, in a decent amount of time, and they do look very pretty.

I got a 1/2 half size larger as some had mentioned it ran small. It was a bit too long in length causing the heel to gape a bit. I don’t think I could go have gone smaller though because the front part felt too tight. Overall it feels uncomfortable due to the tightness across the widest part of my front foot (which won’t stretch since they’re not leather) and the loose heel. I tried the shoe with heel cushions to fill in but the front remains cramped for my wider foot. Designwise the heel seems to lack the correct curve to cup the heel and hold it secure. I just missed the return by a week so I’m stuck with these unfortunately. Lesson learned-shoes for people with sensitive feet like mine need to be purchased at a store where you can try them on.

These are very elegant ballroom dance shoes. I did not need to break them in – they were very comfortable the first time.

These were the perfect shoe to go with my 1920’s inspired outfit for a themed wedding. I normally wear between a 7/12 and 8 in heels and the 8 fit perfect. The shoe was very comfortable the entire night. The champagne color was a soft muted beige color with a touch of sparkle that matched perfectly with my beige 1920’s flapper dress BABEYOND Women’s Flapper Dresses 1920s V Neck Beaded Fringed Great Gatsby Dress (Small, Beige)and made the whole outfit. Something worth mentioning: I’m not a dancer by any means and maybe this is normal for shoe’s made for dancing, but the strap does not go through the buckle and hook like a strappy shoe normally does – the strap is adjustable in the buckle but the buckle is attached to the strap and not the other part (heel) of the shoe like a strappy shoe normally is. There is a clip, like on the back of a swimsuit top, that the whole strap piece (buckle and strap) slides into to secure it making it easier to take on and off. I liked the concept and it was easy to still adjust the shoe to my ankle for a good fit.
