I recently bought the SIMARI Water Shoes for both myself and my family, and they have been fantastic for all our water-related activities!
These aqua socks are perfect for the beach, pool, river, and even for yoga and exercise on the sand. The design and color were nice and fit my feet perfectly. I wore them twice so far and they still hold up. Wore them while rafting as in the picture and wore them again on the beach. The weight is light but I took 1 star away because the bottom soles were still slippery due to no real traction on them. But the shoes does its job in protecting your feet in water, beach, etc. The cost for what you get is reasonable.

I used them a lot in Mexico. It was great for walking on the beach and walking into and out of the ocean. There were small rocks and I could go over them no problem. The shoes are nice and fitted, so it didn’t feel like they would come off in the water. I really loved them. After 3 months of nearly daily use, they are wearing out. I will order another pair for next year!

These shoes are great if you’re looking to wear them one time. I did start noticing the fabric falling apart. I only wore once. I believe I will be able to wear them a few more times before trashing them. They aren’t that bad. They’re comfortable, easy to walk in, dries quick and worth the money.

Great for pool and very comfortable. I would not use at the beach as sand gets inside the shoes through the holes and I had to keep removing and dumping the sand out.

I wanted a minimal shoe to protect my feet from oyster beds and tree roots and unseen sea-floor hazards when I started kayaking 10 months ago. These have done the job beautifully, allowing me to get in and out of the kayak on all sorts of ground without worrying about my feet. I’ve walked on top of sharp oysters and not felt a thing. The shoes slip on and off very fast, so they don’t encumber my routine. When I’m back from a paddle, I rinse them off while they’re still on my feet, and leave them outdoors to dry.
After ten months of rough use, the shoes are starting to fall apart. I’ve worn them about 50 times, and sometimes left them out in the Florida sun to dry. The stretchy uppers are now fading from black to gray. The “collar” (the ribbon of material surrounding the big hole where your foot goes in) is starting to separate from one of the uppers. A thin cloth lining is peeling away from the top of the removable rubber insole (it started peeling away after just a month or so of use), leaving the exposed rubber a little (but only a little) slimy against the foot.
So the shoe could be more durable. But at this price, for the protection it provides my feet and the ease of getting it on and off, it’s been great for me. Now that I am a more experienced and regular kayaker, when this pair of shoes finally wears out, I will probably look first for a pair that’s likely to last, say, 5 times as long and cost only, say, twice as much, without sacrificing protection and ease of slipping on and off. But I’m not sure I’ll find such a pair, and if I don’t, I’ll be pretty happy to reorder a pair of these.

– Can be rinsed off while still on your foot and left outdoors to dry

Cons:
– Could be more durable
– The cons that go along with a “minimal” shoe – no arch support, almost no cushioning against things dropped on your toes from above

I bought a pair of these for both myself & husband for out trip to the Dominican Republic. We wore the every day just about all day. As for sand getting in them, yes a bit of sand does get in them however not near as much as the original type of water shoes. They were easy peezy to rinse out, id take the insoles out, give them a rinse out and let them dry, put the insoles back in and they were perfect for the next day. They do dry rather quickly but if needed in a hurry I took my blow dryer to them and they were dry in 2 min.
I highly recommend these for those that have sensitive feet to sand, rock or whatever. I wore them even in the pools so my feet wouldn’t slip on the ladder or walkin.

They fit fine and look as pictured. However, there is no support and I feel like walking with them at the pool is a hazard. They come off very easily. Definitely looking for a sturdier pair.
