  1. JCB

They fit well over my stocking foot waders and are more comfortable than my favorite 25-year old pair from a well-known maker. They are also very light, which helps for pack-in fishing in remote country. But c’mon! Sheet metal screws for studs?! The screws do indeed grip the streambed/rocks acceptably. However, CARBIDE studs will outlast these screws ten-fold longer, or more.
Still, these are a great value for the money, so I’ll just carry some spare screws and screw-driver in my gear bag. If even an optional carbide-studded pair (or just the studs) were made available, I would rate these as perfect. Good product, nonetheless.

Maybe I was expecting more out of these boots…?
Yes, the price is right, but if they are not comfortable, you might as well be wearing iron shoes!
Out of the box, the soles are SOLID – they do not flex at all.
I question how comfortable they will be in the water?

PLEASE ORDER ONE SIZE SMALLER – IGNORE THE AMAZON RECOMMENDATION.
I wear a solid size 13US and will sometimes buy a size 14US on clearance.
The 14US is loose, but not to the point where it will cause blisters, so I guess I’m a 13.5US?
I got the size 12(US?) boot due to the many reviews that mention these run larger.
I’m glad I listened even though Amazon recommends to get a 13.
    These boots run wide.
I do have neoprene dive booties, and that makes for a perfect fit, even one size smaller.

  3. Rwood

I like these boots. I’m a large guy (6’4, 220 lbs.) with difficulty finding the right fit. These boots fit well and do not cramp my feet when wearing waders. The felt bottom with the lugs makes for a sturdy grip.

  4. Thomas Barton

He’s used them a few times now. They are very nice and light. Great value for the money. Studs work great so far! I’d buy them again!

  5. jim paul

Seem to be a great value for a day of flyfishing.
Comfortable on the trail, in the weeds and slippery rocks. Works with or without my waders. Great fit. Winning!

  6. nick

I’m pleasantly surprised with how lightweight yet durable these have been and the fit is good and comfortable. They dry out really fast as well.

  7. Chris

The boots are pretty good and held up well for heavy use. The 2 sets of upper hooks for laces are a little weak as the metal hook on one busted easy but not a show stopper

  8. Little penguin

Excellent well built wading shoe for the money. Great traction with and without the cleats. I’ve used them probably six times since purchasing. Wading the south Holston north and south fork TN and VA. I can’t attest to durability yet. There isn’t a wading shoe made that will last more than a few seasons for me. I’m really tough on wading boots and shoes in general, being 6’3 270. I bought size 12 and they fit perfectly with neoprene socks or sock foot waders. They also drain well and dry relatively quickly. I’ll do my best to update at 6 months and 1 year use.

These boots are holding up well, and the felt soles really provide great traction on slippery rocks. I wear size 11 shoes and the size 11 boots fit well with neoprene socks. There’s a lot of volume in the boots, so I added felt insoles, but the fit is still a little loose when wet, even tied as tightly as possible.
