Soft inside with some flex; but hard bottom sole. Seem great for chubby toddler feet. Just size up. Mines a 6 in Cat and Jack shoes, the 7s in these are to snug. Going to order 8- size up at least 1 or 2.

I picked the size based off of the measurements given, which means we needed half a size bigger than what she typically wears. They fit her perfectly and she has some wiggle room. She found them to be comfy too, and didn’t want to take them off!
