  1. Traci Fisher

Received these wading boots a week ago and first impressions are very good. They appear solidly constructed; far better than my old Bass Pro boots which lasted years. I am expecting good things and longevity from these as well. Tried them on with my waders and they are not only comfortable but fit true to size. Nice cleated sole which accepted studs very easily. I have used # 10 X 3/8″ plated steel Hex-head screws forever to stud wading boots and found them to be a cheap and effective solution to ANY slippery surface. Looking forward to updating this review once I have had an opportunity to try the boots on-stream.

Giving these a 5 now for price, comfort and fit.Seems like a very sturdy build.I’ll review again if anything bad happens when I get fishing in a month or so

This was my first experience with stocking waders and boots. I followed instructions and purchased wading boots to my normal shoe size and perfect fit. We traveled to a rainforest and spent a week hiking 3-4 miles everyday in mud, sand and rocks. Boots are fabulous comfortable, great traction. Couldn’t be happier.

Decided to get a second ones so I had dry pair on multiple days of fishing. They are a great, comfortable boot at a reasonable price. The only fault I found, one of laces broke the first year while I was tracking to my favourite fishing hole, I suggested packing an extra set of laces, just in case, it wasn’t a easy walk out through the bushes!

  6. Leonhardt

Solid for the price, they fit well, are comfortable, light, durable, but the traction is good out of the water, good on sandy/gravel river beds, but not great on bigger rocks with algae

  7. Amazon Customer

These boots so far are well worth the price. They look great and feel good. I bought 1 size up from my normal size boot and they fit great on my stocking feet. Just have to wait to see how the wear and hold out?

Excellent much better then the cleats I have. Comfortable no SLIPPAGE, fish a lot in rivers. Compared to the cleats these are so much better. Didn’t slip once.they don’t gather silt and mud as well as on the inside. The sole looks solid will see how it holds up. They are very comfortable went with my shoe size and the fit is fine. Could’ve went up in size but there fine. Price is fair so if they last 2 season or more money well spent. If I remember…if.. I’ll update my review late fall. Very pleased and again there better than the cleats. I was confident in the water with each step an not slipping. I would recommend them.from May to October they held up fabulously. Put a lot of miles and hours of wear on them. Only issues laces wore out and they take forever to dry. I’ll stand by my review I like em’ 👍

This is my first pair of wading boots, so I don’t have much too compare them too, but I liked the construction and the fit. The price was great too.

These boots come big, with plenty of room for a stocking foot wader. They are very light weight, so I plan on wearing thick wool socks in cold water, but they should be comfortable in warmer water too with regular socks.

The sole was soft and sticky, and it had bosses for cleats if you so desire. I’ll be using these for a week of river fishing in August in Alaska so I’ll update this review if anything changes.

Update: I wore these boots 10-12 hours a day in Alaska. They were very comfortable whether I was fishing from a skiff or walking a stream. The material allows them to dry fast, and they are very lightweight. The leather boots some of my buddies wore were heavy and took forever to dry. And they didn’t take up much of my alotted weight in my luggage. I definitely recommend these.

So far I really like the boot being light but sturdy with good support. I felt that the cleats should have been provided as advertised as cleated but the price made up for this. I had already purchased some Frogg Togg cleats (sheet metal screws) so I had these on hand. I install these as in the past on other boots by applying a drop or two of epoxy to the thread with about 1/2 of threads showing. This makes it less messy, then screw the rest of the way in but not over tightening. Use a Qtip with the cotton end snapped off, using just the stick end to apply a couple of drops to the thread. I don’t over tighten because I want a nice bead around the seat. Shoe Goo will do the trick as well.

  12. AL MEYERS

The boots fit perfectly with my waders 4mm booties very comfortable and seem well constructed
I walked down to the beach about a quarter mile on pavement another 100 yards through the dunes and into the bay
Footing felt good and stable in the sand with some wave action and while casting

  13. Coastal Bend Red Fish Hunter

I ordered a size 9 for wade fishing. Way too big. Returned for size 8. Way too big. Returned for size 7. Had to install rubber foot pads and wear socks for them to fit tight. Seems like they were made for sock type waders. I have a pair of Frogg Toggs for my sock type waders and they are a size 11 and fit perfect. That said, I really like the shoes in the water. Sure footed and comfortable. Shoe lace are about 20 inches too long. I cut them off to the right length and use marine shrink wrap for the ends. Was a hassle to get the right size but, the end result was worth it.
