I was surprised that they didn’t seem to bother the dog. With them his getting up and general walking has improved greatly. BUT they only usually last 2 days at best for him and he is sleeping 90% of the time and we have been in a drought so they haven’t gotten wet. But his ability to walk out weighs the longevity at least for me.

This is a very good product and has definitely helped my little old dog. She doesn’t slip and slide as much and easier for her to get up. The only downside side is I wish they would stay on better and longer!

I have a 86lb 13 year old chocolate lab with large paws XXL fits like a glove perfectly. His paw pads are also a little bit rough over the years so the stickers actually stick better to a rough surface. He normally slip slides over my laminate wood floor lately it’s gotten really bad, my groomer recommended these and they are seriously life changing for him. My only complaint is that the front paws adhesive wear out fast. I live in very cold and wet eastern Canada and they don’t last very long in the snow or rain. I usually replace front paw stickers every 2-3 days and back paws last about a week, which isn’t bad. Honestly worth the money with the improvements ive seen. He doesn’t try to pick them off either. A must have to senior dogs.

Our dog couldn’t take the socks and boots that are more long lasting than these as were too thick. Tried everything and these are the best if your dog can’t take boots/socks.
Given 5 stars because under these circumstances they are invaluable to us. Make a huge difference to grip on slippy floors. But yes as others say due to their design, they inheriently don’t last long at all. But invaluable when nothing else works

When I saw these anti slip grips I bought them in a New York minute! I have booties, but, they’re too much trouble to put on the dog. Read on, it’s worth the info.
Here’s how I apply them and it works great for my large breed senior dogs. I peel off a self sticking grip and lay it sticky side up on the floor in front of the dog’s foot. Then I pick up the foot and place it down in the center of the grip. I apply a little downward pressure and voila! My dogs don’t slip and they don’t mind the pads.
We’re not looking for perfection here, just that it sticks onto the pads. I trim the hair from between the pads, but, it will work without the trimming.
Some folks have commented that they fall off. Yeah, they’re meant to eventually fall off. Would you want something on your dog’s pads that never come off? I don’t. After a few days they start to lose them. I’M FINE WITH THAT. Anything that helps my dogs not slip is worth it even for a few days. Some have recommended cutting them into separate pads and applying them to individual toes. For us, that caused the pads to fall off within a few hours. I recommend leaving them in one piece. Theirs more surface adhesive that way.
One last thing, I found the size recommendation too large. For my Golden Ret and my Great Pyr, I’m ordering a large instead of XXlarge. Too much pad stuck out all around the bottom of the foot.

My senior pup is losing muscle mass in her rear legs and can no longer walk on our wood floors. We bought these at the suggestion of my vet and they have been a game changer. The only complaint I have is that they fall off within 2 days so we are going through a lot of them. Money well spent to allow her to be able to walk around safely.
One issue I have noticed is if you don’t let them “fall off”, they leave a sticky residue on their paws when removed. In our case, the toes fall off first with the only part attached is on the back of the paw. To help make sure she continues to have these on her feet, I started cutting off the section that detached and then cutting a new sticker to cover just the front of her foot. I am hoping this helps without having to pull the remaining sticker off.

I had high hopes for these helping my elderly dog slipping on the floor. They work great, for the few hours they stay on. I’ve cleaned his paws, clipped his nails, trimmed hair, put stickers on whole, cut apart & put on separate pieces…..doesn’t matter. They move around & come off in a matter of hours (if not minutes). They’d need to be replaced daily, if not more iften, which I can’t afford, in addition to being pretty stressful for both of us (he hates having feet messed with). So I’m back to seeking a viable solution to a difficult problem. Too bad, a great idea, poor execution.

I have a 15 or so boxer mix. We used to live in an all carpeted home but around a year ago we moved to an all tile house. From day one in the new house my old boy has has a slippery time. If he ran he would end up slidding to the other side of the room (not on purpose and would end up busting his butt). Didnt have funds to purchase carpet and rugs didnt help much. Its gotten so bad that hes to scared to even stand up. His hind legs are no good they are wobbly and give out a lot. When hes finally able to force himself up (seriously struggling because his front paws keep sliding) he just comes falling back down because his hind legs are sliding all over the dang place. Now all he does is sit there most the time. If he has to go to the bathroom he yelps at me to assist him. I tried getting patted socks but this old boy doesnt like things on his feet so i went ahead and tried these. I was a little worried because while there are quite a few good reviews theres several stating its a waste of money. But I thought why not just give it a try its not expensive. So I went ahead and bought them in the biggest size (shoulda went a size smaller) and im oh so happy I did!! I followed many peoples suggestions and trimed the pads to just the toe areas and then put em on his paw pads which was kinda hard to do only because he doesnt like ppl touching his paws. After I put em on him I went to the other side of the room to call for him and he just yelped for assistance. I told him no he gotta try to get up on his own. He struggled to get up but got up the fastest ive seen him in a while then he walked to me slowly, no slipping. Let me tell you that after he did that little walk to me and realized he wouldnt slip he had such a confidence boost!! He dang tried running! He didnt fall or nothing, hes had them on for 2 days now a few have falled off and im gonna replace em soon but hes been walking around all day long, hoping and light running here and there. My old boy is back to being his old joyful full of life self. I couldn’t be more satisfied with this product!
WARNING:
I think people who wrote bad comments either didnt put them on right or had to high of expectations. These are basically bandaids, little stickers for their paws, they are not permanent. If u have carpets, rugs, or if ur dogs go out side a lot or if they drag there fett some these stickers are not gonna stay on long because they get loose. My boy lost 1 sticker the first day and the second day he lost a few more (try putting a bandaid on the bottom of ur foot and see how long it will last. Even though they fall off they still stick quite well and my boy is able to walk just fine with a few stickers missing. And the product is not supper expensive so it’s easy to buy more. All im saying is you should try em out especially if ur dog is old and struggling!

We have a small dog who is afraid to walk on hardwood floors which limits her to a couple small areas of the house. We tried these a couple days ago and the pads improve her confidence to a bit more hardwood flooring but not all. Time should improve. However, her feet are small and these pads as small as they are are a bit too large and extend into the hair on her legs. Removing them is quite a chore. I think they are a good alternative in training but will have to cut them down a bit.

These work really well. The adhesive is strong and easy to apply. It’s a little smaller since my dog’s paws are big. I think this was the biggest size I ordered. The only issue is my dog kept taking them off. She did not like them in her paws. Haha
