I bought a pair in Gray for myself and showed them to my son when they came in. He liked them visually enough to want a pair of his own so I ordered a pair for him as well. Both were purchased to use for our cruise as I wanted something that looked like a regular shoe so I could wear it walking around the ship or downtown on our stops as well as on the pool deck or on the excursions where they would get wet. These were way more comfortable than I expected and look a lot like a regular pair of name brand running shoes that I own. The water flows right out of them through the holes in the bottom and they take minimal time to dry. I would typically wear them all day long getting them wet on and off and when I got out of the pool I would put them right on while my feet were still wet. All I needed to do was leave them out on the balcony for a few hours and they would be dry enough to wear again to walk around the ship. I live in a beach town too and plan to wear them to the beach instead of flip flops so that I feel comfortable going into a decent restaurant. Again, I did quite a bit of walking in them and have a bad back and bad ankle and I had no problems walking all day in them on multiple occasions. The only potential negative is that if you are wearing them walking around town and you hit a puddle, the bottom of your feet will get wet as the water will come in from the sole. Also, sand and small rocks would get in them, but that is the same with any shoe that you wear to the beach or in the water. They were easy enough to slide off, dump out, and put right back on again. A friend of mine recently bought the Nike version and these look about the same, if not better and he paid nearly $60 from an outlet. I got 2 pairs for considerably less. Definitely recommend and will purchase a replacement pair when/if I wear these out. For the price, they can’t be beat!

Muy cómodos y ligeros. Ideal para la playa o el club. Se secan muy rápido. Mejor opción que usar sandalias. Después de algunos dias de uso, tienden a oler mal, imagino que el plástico acumula bacterias

Make no bones – this is a cheap shoe.
The upper is nicely done and fits pretty well. The mesh fabric is light and breathable, and should be comfortable in warm weather. It is glued to a shaped and cut piece of thick foam, reminiscent of a swimmer’s kick board.
Overall, the shoe fits well, but it is also a bit snug in the toe box. As such, although you can walk in them, this is not an all day shoe. Even with light socks, they are tiring after long periods and also a bit painful near the big toe. (As the description reads – a water shoe while in the boat).
I expect to keep them because I have not found another comfortable, enclosed, lightweight mesh shoe. For $30, will see how they hold up for intended occasional use.

This is the second pair of these shoes that I have purchased and I have previously been impressed with the quality comfort and durability of them. These are slightly different style and colour I have been using them for some months and there’s no indication of any problems I was surprised at the quality control on one of the shoes the threads are exposed in the stitching. I briefly contemplated returning them but I I took a punt and as long as this exposed thread doesn’t unravel and contribute to I wish you coming apart I’ll be quite happy, so far so good.
EDIT: So I’ve had these for approximately one year now, they’ve been so useful they look smart and are fantastic if you live in a tropical region with heavy downpours. I even jog occasionally in wet weather on grass in the park. There is no evidence yet of any damage or deterioration.

Very good, comfortable, but expect to soak all water from the ground at anytime, and only last for one summer

Very nice boat shoe, great sole, nice lacing system

I was worried about whether these shoes would do the trick. They were fairly cheap ($25 ish) and looked cool, so I was worried they might be “form over function”.
I purchased them anyway for a river rafting trip down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon and I was wrong – they were absolutely perfect!
Unlike many water shoes/river shoes, they look cool. But they work really well too – there are holes in the bottom that water drains out through. The soles are some kind of rubber and have some traction so these were great for short hikes on trails and through vegetation or on rocks – my feet were completely protected. But I could also walk through streams and have the water drain instantly. They dried out quickly too whenever we were in the sun for a bit.
In some shoes I am a 10.5 and in some shoes I am a 10. I ordered a 10.5. It felt just the slightest bit loose (since I didn’t wear with socks), but that wasn’t a problem because the piping you see at the top of the foot hole is actually elastic and holds the shoe on. I think a 10 could have even been too small. These were super comfortable and never felt like they were falling off.
My brother wore serious hiking shoes and he was able to climb some rock faces that I wouldn’t attempt in these. But for hiking, I was more than comfortable. And my feet dried quickly due to the draining ability of these shoes.
For $25, these are practically disposable and did the trick for the trip, functioning WAY better than I expected (I’d have paid more). I’d order whatever size you usually are, and if you are often between two half sizes, choose the large one because the elastic properties of the shoe will allow them to mold to your feet and stay secured.

Best water shoes I’ve had. Thank you.

They are comfortable and light with decent cushion but they get rocks stuck in the stores like crazy.

I wear a Men’s size 12 US in medium width (the standard). These shoes are great. Very sturdy and comfortable. I am in or around the water almost everyday. I’ve worn them walking on a mud bottom, sand bottom, stony bottom and in pools. I’ve even worn them out (as they look very much like regular shoes) if I just got out of the water or will be going in the water.
These are my second pair. Let’s make it clear why I bought a second pair. The kid (12) couldn’t find his water shoes one day and he wears a 9. I told him to wear mine to go out in the water. Needless to say, he got one stuck in the mud and couldn’t find it. So I liked them well enough to buy the EXACT same size, brand, and model.
Pros: Great fit, great water drainage, comfortable
Cons: (Not really a con, just be aware) Sometimes rocks, acorns, etc. will get caught in the holes in the sole. No big deal, just informing so you don’t walk in the house with them and scratch your tile floor or antyhing like that.
Second (Not the company’s fault. Just a fact of life.) If you walk around with these in the sand or use them at the beach, you WILL get sand in them. There is an insole in them for comfort so you’re not walking around on the large holes in the sole. Because of this it is harder for the sand to get out with the insole in them. Even if you take the insole out (I wouldn’t) the fine mesh covering the large sole holes wouldn’t allow the sand to just “flow” out.
I personally haven’t found a pair of water shoes that does any better with sand, and as I stated, I liked these so much I bought a second pair without hesitation after the kid lost one of mine.
