Bought these boots for some of my PhD field work in interior Alaska. Just got back a week or so ago and these boots really saved my feet and kept me comfortable. Much of the field work we did involved being outdoors for 10-12 hours at a time in temperatures as low as -20 to -30 degrees F. There was not a lot of walking around either, mostly sitting around and taking notes on collected samples. I paired the boots with two layers of socks (one thin ski sock covered by a super thick wool sock) and barely had cold feet at all. Outside of bunny boots I don’t think there is a better Arctic boot. Did lots of kneeling, crouching, walking, and snowmobile driving with these boots over the two week period and didn’t see any wear and tear. Really glad I bought these boots, but as of now I can’t say anything about long term durability.

The boots started out nice but didn’t even make it 10 days before the heel fell off. I know it could be a one off but they were returned for a refund and and a different pair was purchased

I have two other muck boots, the Chore ST and the Wetland models. These are as tall as the Wetland and have a different spike style sole. They Pro ST also has more material outside of toe area for better wear. Even though they are all size 10, the Pro ST is physically larger than both and alittle bit heavier, yet fits the best. Overall, it’s cold and blowing snow outside and these boots are looking sweet!

Great for working in cold temperatures and comfortable.

Super comfortable, very warm and I don’t even think about my toes when I’m wearing them through a few feet of snow or ice water.
They are a bit tight around my legs so getting them off can be a bit of a struggle but amazing so far.

I bought these because i had cheaper mucks that tore however these get VERY hot when working in the winter outside. You wont feel the cold at least I didn’t

Very warm boots

I bought one size up because there was a sale and my size was out. I added a fluffy sole insert which made them super comfy. They are tighter on my calves than I expected so are tricky to get off. I feel protected while working in them think they will hold up well in monsoon season and winter. Very solid.

It does keep your feet warm below freezing. I’d say around zero is when it starts to decline. But that’s expected. Really my only complaint is that there is almost no traction when I wear them indoors. If the floor at work is wet, which it usually is, I’m almost guaranteed to fall. Outdoors on concrete they work just fine. But if you work inside and out, expect to change your boots.

Will buy again
